After raising 4 wonderful young men with her loving supportive husband of almost 30 years, Lisa Soucie discovered her inner artist.
On a whim and a prayer, Lisa remedied her empty nest struggles by ripping up the carpet in the newly vacated bunk room and started to paint!
Although she has always had a love of color, she was inspired by today’s trending neutral palette. She discovered that neutrals created more texture, movement and light, creating distance and depth with ambiguous foregrounds and horizons. Her work is neither abstract or landscape but a marriage of the two that often promotes the observer to want to touch the work and express what they see in it.
Whether you are a collector or just wanting to add a finishing touch to a room, Lisa Soucie’s art compliments all interiors.
